Schloss Ehrenfels is one of the outstanding event locations in Baden-Württemberg. Not least because of its idyllic and also easily accessible location on the Swabian Alb near Stuttgart, Ulm and the Lake Constance region, the expensively restored ensemble of Schloss Ehrenfels is particularly interesting and popular as a wedding location.  

Daniel Tress is one of the restaurateurs on the Swabian Alb who are known as “kitchen brothers” for their regional bio cuisine, and also as the gastronomical operator of the exclusive event location in a wing of the historical castle system, amongst other things. The heating of the former stable would be extremely problematic or even impossible to heat with conventional heating systems. However, the owner and the operator found the best solution in the infrared systems from HALLER. “The building is not insulated, and the windows in the 80 cm thick walls are only single glazed as they were when it was built in 1740 because of the strict listed building regulations. Many weddings take place here every weekend, all year round. With the 8 HALLER Mega Heater infrared heating elements discreetly attached to the high ceiling, the approximately 200 square metre and 4 m high room can even be used for events with 80 to 120 persons, even during the winter!”. Because of his good experience with HALLER INFRAROT heating systems, both Daniel Tress and his brother Simon, who is known throughout Germany as a top chef, also use this extremely efficient type of heating privately.
